BALLOT DROP BOX LOCATIONS

(Allegheny County Only)

The Allegheny County Board of Elections last week unanimously approved a proposal in which the Elections Division will open additional offices on specific dates and times leading up to the Nov. 3 election. Each office will provide opportunity for voters to provide over-the-counter voting, and the return of voted ballots to a fully staffed, secure office.

The planned board offices and hours are as follows:

Sat., Oct. 10, 9 am – 5 pm
Sun., Oct. 11, 11 am – 7 pm

  • North Park Ice Rink
  • South Park Ice Rink
  • DPW Garage #2 (Carnegie)
  • CCAC Homewood

Sat., Oct. 17, 9 am – 5 pm
Sun., Oct. 18, 11 am – 7 pm

  • Boyce Park Ski Lodge
  • Shop ‘n Save Hill District

Sat., Oct. 24, 9 am – 5 pm

How to Vote By Mail

Once you receive your ballot, mark your ballot following the directions.

Place your ballot in the secrecy envelope and then put the secrecy envelope into the official envelope. Be sure to sign the declaration, or your ballot will not count.

Every county will have a secure drop box for your ballots.
Postage will be paid for ALL mail-in & absentee ballots

Election Day Reminders

Polls open at 7:00 am and close at 8:00 pm

If you are in line before the polls close, you are allowed to cast your vote

Request a provisional ballot if your name is not on your polling location's roster

Contact your county election officials if you experience issues at the polls

Last Day to register before the General Election

Last day to apply for a  mail-in or absentee ballot

Nov 3

Last day to  postmark/send mail-in and absentee ballots to county boards of election *

Election  Day

November 6 – Mail-in and absentee ballots (postmarked before 8 P.M. on election day) must be received before 5 P.M. by your county election office. The November 6th deadline applies to ballots that have been returned by mail ONLY. Ballots may NOT be delivered in-person to your county board of elections after 8 p.m. on election day, November 3.* * * *
