Harrisburg – Dec. 3, 2014 – State Sen. Jim Brewster (D-Allegheny/Westmoreland) today reminded Allegheny Valley residents that they are welcome to visit the Vandergrift Municipal Building and the Allegheny Township Municipal Building, in addition to his New Kensington office, to access state services.

“Beginning today, a member of my staff will be in Vandergrift every Wednesday and Thursday; and Allegheny Township on Mondays and Tuesdays to answer questions, solve state government-related problems and help residents utilize services and programs,” Brewster said.

In Vandergrift, Brewster’s staff will be at the municipal building from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The municipal building is located at 109 Grant Avenue.

The staff will be available from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Allegheny Township Municipal Building. The municipal building is at 136 Community Building Road, Leechburg.

Brewster said his staff can provide assistance with Property Tax/Rent Rebate applications, PACE/PACENET forms, Access applications, bus passes, PennDOT forms and other programs.

“I look forward to continued hands-on presence in the Allegheny Valley where residents can have a direct point of contact with my office,” Brewster said.

The senator said that area residents who are unable to reach the staff in Vandergrift or Allegheny Township can always call his other district offices that are located in New Kensington (724 334-1143), Monroeville (412 380-2242) and McKeesport (412 664-5200).
