McKeesport, March 3, 2015 – State Sen. Jim Brewster today announced that he is co-hosting two local Senior Identity Theft Seminars.

“All of us have heard stories about how people can get their identity stolen and become victimized in so many ways,” Brewster said. “These seminars are aimed at helping people become more aware of some of the various schemes and scams targeted at senior citizens.

“Just as important, I hope to give people good information about what steps they can take if they believe their identity has been stolen.”

Hosted jointly with the state Attorney General’s Office, the seminars will be held in:

  • Brentwood on Monday, March 9 at 2 p.m. in the Brentwood Community Room at Brentwood Public Library, 3501 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227; and
  •  New Kensington on Thursday April 23 at 10:30 a.m., Alle-Kiski Valley Center for Active Adults, 1039 3rd Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15068

Registration is required. Contact Kathy Jo Osman in Senator Jim Brewster’s McKeesport office at 412-664-5200 or by email at kosman@pasenate.com to register.
